At Spread The Vote we partner with local organizations who are serving the underserved population in their communities to help people get the photo-issued IDs that they need for homes, jobs, food, medical care, to vote and so much more.
How We Do It
We pay for all of the expenses required to obtain an ID (i.e. state ID costs, cost of birth certificate, marriage license, divorce decree, etc.). We train our partners, provide resources, and support the work at all steps of the way. Potential clients that are interested in working with us outside of the jails can submit a request by completing the 'Need an ID" form linked below.
